Helping a library system reach more patrons.
In the world of libraries, community engagement is everything–whether it is getting materials into the hands of patrons or becoming a beacon for community events and history.
With a growing catalog of physical and digital materials spread across 21 branches, the Nashville Public Library needed a way to promote new and back catalog titles to entice check-out.
Dalton+Anode developed an interactive digital end cap that puts curated reading lists right in front of patrons as they browse the stacks. This makes it easy for patrons to discover new titles and often-forgotten treasures in a more retail like experience.
While we won’t take all credit... we will mention that after our end cap was installed, the Nashville Public Library increased on-loan materials and was named the “Library of the Year” in 2017 by industry publication Library Journal.
