Founded by Jim Dalton in 1989, The Dalton Agency has developed into an award winning, full-service agency with offices throughout the Southeast. We work with regional, national, and global brands in a wide range of categories. Our philosophy for growth has kept our core belief intact, the needs of our clients always come first. Any department, any discipline, any skillset — you'll always find approachable faces eager to create collaborative solutions for your marketing challenges. Of course, we're always happy to chat about more lighthearted topics in between all the serious business too.
Together we win. Today's advertising landscape is about more than just talking. And we pride ourselves on being expert listeners. Building an authentic relationship with the clients we serve is the first step in creating a meaningful connection with the consumers we need to reach. Luckily, open conversation and emotional engagement are in our DNA. These values fuel our collaborative approach, our creative work and, ultimately, our impressive results.
What we do.
At a high-level, we do what it takes to fulfil your business objectives. But if you're looking for some detail, our team of more than 100 employees specialize in the following:
Telling authentic stories that connect on a higher level — We believe the best brands make an emotional connection with consumers. That's why we create brands that are memorable, sustainable, and uniquely your own. Logos, positioning, branding campaigns – they all work together to viscerally tell your story to create loyal converts, not just customers.
If it lives online, our digital team can create it — This is where technology, strategy and creative come together in perfect digital harmony to bring your brand experience to the web. Whether it's a fully responsive web site, digital banners or wide spectrum of digital solutions, we can target the right people, grow your reach and create more profitable relationships.
Sheparding your projects every step of the way — Part agency conduit. Part idea catalyst. Our Account Management team is your link to the agency, working hand-in-hand with you to achieve your goals. We coordinate resources, align strategy with creative and facilitate a high impact plan that will strengthen your brand – and bottom line.
From strategic counsel to pitching media, our PR team can help shape public opinion — A great press release, article or story that gets media coverage and consumer attention is just the beginning. Our PR team acts as your strategic counsel, working to capture and position your company in the best possible light. All to help achieve your unique communication and business objectives.
Beyond likes and #hashtags, our social media team creates, monitors and manages the conversation — Social media is an ever-evolving, opportunistic, often precarious space. As an agency that recognized the power of social media early on, we're experienced in leveraging the power of social media to effectively reach your audience, provide information, manage the conversation, and facilitate conversions.
Content is king. Well, good content that is — Creating engaging, sharable content out of often complex information is fun to us, and well, efficient for you. Whether it's GIFs, infographics, or short videos, we're the ones to create content that gets the eyeballs. We concept, shoot and design original content that can work on all platforms for all audiences.
From concept to shoot to final cut — It's not enough to just dream up great video ideas. We have talented people in-house to shoot, edit, and produce a polished, professional, play-that-again video. We direct, edit, and provide post production services for any video project you might have in mind.
Our creative team will tell your story in the most engaging way — How do you judge creative? To us, good creative is memorable and entertaining. It shifts consumer behavior, and compels audiences to engage with your brand. Our talented band of copywriters, art directors and designers craft the kind of creative that moves people to take action.
Get your message to the masses or that incredibly tough to reach niche — Part creative, part scientist, our media strategists and planners use market intelligence to reach your target audience at the right time, in the right place. Whether it's using traditional, digital, or paid social media, we'll create a strategic plan to build awareness and drive sales. Services include media planning and buying, search and PPC planning, research, reporting and optimization.
Market Research puts the idea, brand, or campaign to the test — Maybe you want a brand perception study. To test concepts. Or even get feedback on your pricing structure. We conduct primary research that will uncover the insights that drive smarter, more confident marketing decisions. We conduct surveys, awareness studies, online panels and, in our own research facility, focus groups and one-on-one interviews. More information about our market research division, called D-Lab, can be found here.
