What do you get when you combine the Harlem Globetrotters, free Caramel Frappe samples, Ronald McDonald, and the McBites Mobile? A whole lot of fun!
Friday night, at the Veteran’s Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, FL, the McBites Mobile came cruising in to an excited crowd waiting for the start of the Globetrotters game. As soon as our street team jumped out to greet fans, we started the Pop a Shot for free McBites game. Kids (those young and young at heart) waited in line to show off their basketball skills for a chance to win free Chicken McBites, or even a “Totally Popable” t-shirt if they made all five baskets.
The McBites Mobile proved to be a great way to reach several groups waiting for the game to begin, as we could drive around the outside of the arena and stop wherever folks were hanging out before the game. The McDonald’s team handed out hundreds of “Be Our Guest” cards to people who were excited to come try this cool new product.
While the fun was taking place, everyone could watch the action as @McD_Jax tweeted live from the event with many great photos and updates on what was happening.
