Dalton Agency client Biomet Microfixation recently showcased one of their top products to the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. At a trade show held earlier this week, Biomet Microfixation held an event at the Ft. Lauderdale Museum of Art to educate attendees on the benefits of using the Sternalock® System when closing a patient’s sternum following a procedure such as open-hear surgery.  The event was part of an ongoing campaign that utilizes round-table meetings and educational events to help surgeons, physicians assistants and hospital administrators better understand the topic of rigid fixation of the sternum.

SternaLock is not just an innovative product, it’s a new way of closing the sternum after cutting the bone and performing the surgery.  Rigid fixation offers numerous advantages over traditional wire closure methods, including increased stability of the sternum, reduced lateral motion and sternal separation, and greater strength of the sternum to help patients return to activity more quickly when compared with wire closures.

The Dalton Agency is currently supporting Biomet Microfixation’s efforts to promote the Sternalock System with collateral, event planning, trade show graphics and public relations campaigns.
